Creating Designs in the Silhouette v4 Software

This project has been on my to-do list for a long while and now we are all home all day long together, I sat down to get it done.
Using some basic features in the Silhouette software – Drawing tools, Replicate Panel, Alignment tools – you can create your own custom projects.
Check out this video below on how I created a chore chart.
I added a couple Chore Chart Icons by Amy Robinson – Design #256141 to the chart to give it a little more color and character than just a boring lines chart.
Now, you may have been putting this off like I was or just haven’t had the time to make a chore chart. So I am also offering this as a free file you can download below.

I would love to see what you create!
Feel free to post on my Facebook group at Silhouette Secrets with EllyMae.
Enjoy!

Elly: OMG, I never thought about doing these types of things in SL program. I have always used Word for teaching and designing documents. I did not know about the Alt button for duplicate a copy on top and drag over. I learned some new techniques for things that I have used in Word, but not in SL. Are you using screencastify to make your video? I just learned how to make a video for my parents on how to navigate Google classroom and logging into class and county websites. It was SO cool! What tool did you use at the end of the video to make your to logo page spin out and disappear? Is this on a slide show? If this is not appropriate to ask, just let me know. I am learning so many neat things for virtual teaching that I can use as a SL instructor in the future. I am sad that I will not get to hang out with you and Terri for the licensing event, but love that I will get to keep the videos for future reference. I figure I will just hang out with you next year at the Curio event!!! Is there a list of your videos and lessons on your website…maybe a place where you click and it takes you to the next one? I am trying to watch them all and want to check off so I know I do not miss anything. Thanks! Have a wonderful Easter!

I use a combination of several programs to record the videos and then they are all edited with Power Direct.
I do have a Youtube channel and I do have several video classes available on Teachable
