Emerald Creek Design Team – October 2026
Today I’m sharing a card design where I combined products from Emerald Creek and used it with a side-step card cut file from Lori Whitlock. This file is a base card file and can be created in so many different ways.

I cut the card base from solid cardstock and then used a sunflower themed paper pack to cut out the background papers for each section. I inked the edges of the paper after it was cut before adhering it to the card base.

This paper pack had a square image that was great for the focal point of the card. I used a paper trimmer to cut it out and then added some distress inks to the edges and matted it on brown cardstock. And added it to the front of the left side of the side-step card only adding adhesive to the left side of the focal point.

Then I stamped the Thank you using embossing ink onto white cardstock and sprinkled on black embossing powder. Add a bit of heat and it makes the embossing powder melt. I matted the sentiment onto a scrap of shimmer yellow cardstock.

I thought this card turned out great for the theme: The Art of Remembering. A Thank You card can be a great way to remember something someone else did for you. And this card turned out better than I imagined it would be.
I love having so many options with Silhouette cut files. This card file design could be used for so many different themes, papers, and kits.
